FutureStepsTerms of use
FutureSteps is operated by NestR LLC and provides educational planning support. It does not represent a university, government, scholarship provider, immigration adviser, school counselor, licensing authority or employer.
Account eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to create a FutureSteps account and provide accurate age and account information. Students aged 13–17 need permission from their parent or legal guardian, recorded through that adult’s separate email-confirmed account. This is a permission process, not independent identity or guardianship verification. Adult accounts do not require parent permission. Permission to use the service is separate from optional family progress sharing and does not give parents access to private coaching chats. Under-13 accounts are not supported.

Free tools and your AI trial
College and scholarship search, career exploration, planning, question-bank practice, and linked parent access have no trial expiry and do not require a paid subscription, subject to account eligibility. Each eligible student account without a previous paid subscription can receive one 30-day Core AI allowance trial. It starts once the student’s email and required age and permission steps are complete; existing eligible accounts start on their next visit. Linked parent access is included and does not create a second student trial. No payment card is needed and the trial does not renew or create an automatic charge. Weekly AI coaching allowances apply and reset on Monday at 00:00 UTC. When the AI trial expires, new live AI coaching and AI-generated study help, where available, require an active plan and available allowance. Free tools remain usable, including creating plans and starting question-bank practice. Saved notes remain accessible subject to account eligibility. Withdrawal of required permission pauses access but does not extend or restart the original trial period.
Subscriptions and cancellation
Where paid checkout is available, Core is $9, Plus is $19.99 and Complete is $34.99 per month in USD. Stripe checkout shows the amount and any applicable tax before you subscribe. Subscriptions renew monthly until canceled. Each subscription covers one student account; family sharing does not add a second student subscription. You can cancel in Billing settings before your next renewal; access normally continues until the end of the paid period. Account deletion or withdrawal of required parent permission closes access and requests subscription cancellation. Cancellation does not automatically refund an earlier charge. Contact hello@futuresteps.ai for billing errors, refund requests or help canceling; any rights required by applicable law remain unaffected. AI coaching allowances are limited and renew weekly; the app shows your remaining allowance and reset date. Human advising is not included.
No guarantees
Admission bands, cost estimates, scholarship matches and career suggestions are planning indicators. Families must verify all requirements and costs with official institutions.
Human review
High-impact decisions should be reviewed with a qualified counselor, teacher, coach or relevant professional.
Data accuracy
The starter catalog contains broad demo estimates used to demonstrate product workflow. Production customers should only receive refreshed, sourced and quality-reviewed facts.
Responsible use
Families should use FutureSteps as a planning companion, not as the only source for admissions, scholarship, visa, licensing or employment decisions.
